Can you please introduce yourself?
"Of course! I offer services in a video game. I've been doing this for over 10 years and I'm known as the most reputable service provider in the game. I started doing this as a way to earn some pocket money and it eventually became my profession. Last year, I realized that this video game is slowly dying, so I explored new ways of making money. "
Why did you start creating short videos?
"That's when I started creating shorts on platforms like YouTube, and later TikTok! I saw the monetization potential and decided to try my luck with faceless videos. I currently run five channels, two of which have more well-thought-out videos. "
Which channel works best for you?
"It's definitely Dr.Philou, a faceless channel that gives business advice, with over 90,000 subscribers. It went well directly, but you need 10,000 subscribers on TikTok to activate monetization. In my first month of monetization, I must have made around 300 euros.
I monetize three of my channels through TikTok's monetization program, and in the first month alone on Dr.Philou, I earned around 800 euros in commissions through affiliate marketing."
How did you use to edit your shorts before Submagic?
"Before using Submagic, I had a specific workflow for editing my short videos. I separated the process of adding subtitles from the editing itself. I used a tool called Capcut for automated subtitles, but it wasn't as good as Submagic. It had some word choice problems and sometimes the subtitles would bug. It took me about an hour to add subtitles to each video, and I did it before going to bed. But now, with Submagic, the process is much faster and smoother."
What's the most significant benefit you've gained from using Submagic?
"The biggest benefit I've gained from using Submagic is the time I've saved. It used to take me about 1 hour a day to do 1 short before Submagic, now I have a morning routine that allows me to do 5 shorts in 2 hours - it's ridiculous!"
"Also it changed the mood of my day. Knowing that each day I had to spend 4-5 hours editing captions broke my mood since it was a task I hated doing. But, right now I’m enjoying animating my subtitles with emojis or finding some new subtitle templates."
What advice would you give to others who want to start creating content in the video automation niche?
"My advice for anyone wishing to start creating videos in the video automation field would be to think long-term and choose a niche that offers a wide range of content possibilities. It's important to select a simple niche that offers plenty of potential for creating content consistently.
Plus, it's crucial to keep up to date with what others are doing in the niche and what works for them. Always check the competition."
One more thing, what’s your favorite Submagic subtitle design?
"Well, to be honest, I've tried all the subtitle designs on Submagic, but my favorite is definitely William. It adds a lot of value to my videos, mainly with its keyword sound effect and it really helps hold the viewer's attention."
